I have to tell you that our son and his wife, Melissa, surprised us this year (2011) with a family party to celebrate our 60th Birthdays, and our 40th Anniversary. It was one of the most memorable times of our life...truly one we will never forget. Dan said, before he prayed, that it was a celebration of us, and the example we have set for him over the years, in our lives and in our marriage. We really enjoyed the time we got to spend with all the family members that were able to make it. It seems in our busy lives, we don't often get to do something like that anymore...and it was very heart-warming and truly memorable.
