LONGING FOR HOME

There are times that I still feel
I wish my life would end.
Then I’d be home with you and mom,
My grandparents and friends.
But God still has a plan for me,
Tis really very plain.
He gives me comfort day by day
To help to ease my pain.
For others here still need to hear
Of His great sacrifice.
To leave them dying in their sin
Would not be very nice.
So I will spend remaining days,
Sharing what I know.
‘Til one sweet day He calls to me,
And I can homeward go.
