THOUGHTLESS GOOD-BYES

How often do we say good-bye
To the dear ones we treasure,
Expecting to see them again ~
Make memories at our liesure.
We take so much for granted.
We say, "We'll find a way
To take the time for those we love.
We'll have so many days."
We figure that tomorrow
We'll take the time, my friend.
We figure that tomorrows
Will go on without end.
Sometimes tomorrow never comes,
Lest we regret delay ~
Why put off for tomorrow,
What can be done today?
